| Time | Event | CEUs |
Per the AEA: For in-person seminars, attendees are required to be physically present in the lecture hall for the duration of the lecture to accumulate CEUs. Virtual attendees must be present for the entire virtual lecture to earn CEUs. An absence of > 10 minutes per lecture hour will result in the deduction of 0.1 CEU per lecture hour.
The American Electrology Association maintains CEU Transcripts for all members of the Oregon Association of Licensed Electrologists, and electrologists in the state of Oregon who have registered with the American Electrology Association. Registering an account is free, however members of the OALE and AEA save 50% on their recording fees.

The AEA Office of Continuing Education (OCE) want CEU earning opportunities to be an easy alternative for CPEs. We believe that continuing education improves knowledge, safeguards patient/client health and well being, and enhances the professional image of electrology. The Continuing Education Review Committee (CERC) have approved several sources of continuing education home study but no retroactive granting of CEUs is permitted.
Pre-Approved Homestudy Courses
The Journal of Electrology, published twice yearly by the AEA, contains educational articles specifically written for the electrologist. A home study test is included at the end of each publication which may be completed and returned to the CERC for scoring.
