Student Membership Application

As an electrolysis student, you are the future of the profession and OALE is proud to welcome you into the community.

OALE Student Membership was developed in order to provide aspiring electrologists with resources and information to help them develop a thriving practice.

Requirements to join: 

  • Government-issued Photo ID

  • You must be actively enrolled in a qualifying* electrolysis education program and provide proof of enrollment. If enrollment cannot be confirmed, the application will be denied.

  • Licensed electrologists are not eligible for a Student Membership.

Student Membership Fee is $50.00 for a 6-month period.

Student Membership can only be purchased once per individual. 

Student Members shall be entitled to the following rights and privileges of regular members - Member Resources: 

  • Specials and Discounts from Trusted Vendors (Earthlite Massage Tables, Viola Tweezers, BQE Ergonomic Stools & Chairs, Clareblend Inc.)

  • Helpful Links and Information: Self Inspection Checklist, Facility Licensing & License Renewal info, LGBTQ2+ Resources, GRS/GCS Permanent Hair Removal Templates, Educational Presentations from Prior Seminars

  • Pairing newer electrologists with a Mentor, upon request

  • Access to the OALE Forum; an online community for sharing best practices, asking questions, etc. 

  • Continuing Education Opportunities: Including a substantial student member discount for the annual OALE Seminar. 

Student Members will not be eligible for:

  • Initiating motions, voting, holding office

  • Use of OALE or AEA Logos

  • Listings on the OALE and AEA Website directories, printed directories, and interactive maps

  • Seminar attendance by Student Members does not count towards CPE credits or continuing education hours required by HLO of Oregon annually, as only licensed electrologists can accrue those credits. 

*After you have submitted the application, we will contact your school or approved supervisor to confirm your enrollment. Upon confirmation, you will receive an email from PayPal in order to pay the Student Membership Fee.
